i've passed through the last problem by finding an very useful tip in the comments of the max version ( if refresh rate is over exceeded, you must press alt + ctrl + shift + 12, and then select fail-safe video mode, then continue booting and then installer will use vesa video mode).
anyways, when i reboot my pc after installation, and sellesct BeOS to bot, it loads but it shows the debug window. It talks about some kind of kernel failure, i think. I've installed the intel kernel patch, but it fails using it and don't. Maybe some incompatibility hardware issue?
my specs are:
proccesor: pentium 4 1.3 Ghz
mainboard: via, i can`t remember the model
video card : tnt2 m64 32 mb
ram : 256 mb
logic drives: main 20 Gb (NTFS, using Windows (i know, i'm sorry) 2000 Pro), slave 4 GB (where BeOs is installed) , an acer cd-rom lector and a sony cd-rw unit.
soundcard: AC'97, integrated.
does somebody know something about this, or how can i get rid of the debug window? thanks in advance.

i've recently made and bootable cd from the sources given for minimax, and booted it sucessfully, but except for the start page of the os installer i can't do nothing else, because my monitor fails to render (i supose) at 75 hz, and gets black out.

You don't need to, I think. Minimax is just the same as Max (which is a full (hacked/modified/stripped) BeOS PE OS) but without all the bloat in it.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but to use this don't you have to have BeOS 5 Personal already installed? If so, great I've got that part covered. If not, how does one go about installing it? Anyone have a how-to for this?

A Pro Edition would be very helpful, obviously just a zip with all the most used patches and such, I guess.
