Between this one, Image2Icon and MakeThumbnail the latter still got a better icon picture image quality, I think. The icon picture closer matches the image. There was an image tool making thumbnails too, but I remember MakeThumbnail was better. Anyway all these tool suffer of a bit of stretching in non square images; Image2Icon seems to suffer less of bad stretching, then comes ITI.
MakeThumbnail got a better resampling anyway, If you try some real photos you'll see they match better the MT icons. Antialiasing is better too.
And I2I and ITI have bad colors compared to MT.

this app is Great! :)
i was really wondering how on earth im supposed to make graphics into icons (since cut/paste doesn't work...)
(might want to make it something that runs on all images to make thumbnail icons...) - or just assign a shortcut to it and manually run it on lots of images...
