I don't know how to code/port drivers into BeOS, although i'm learning the BeOS API I can port something, but I prefer ending all my delayed C++ work.

See you and thanks for using my app.

Just a note say "thanx" for the app.My voodoofx 5500 has limited functionality and acceleration w/this app as a substitute driver for the card.I don't code but couldn't you take windows C++ code and construct a driver for this card?I'm a diehard user who'll never give up this video card, all others pale in comparison, even today.

I actually tried to get thins working by the script, but I didn't understand too well how to do it, so I didn't do it right (maybe because English is not my first language).
I consider myself still a newbe, and this app helps a lot.

Thanks ChaosDNA

Memson, i used Vesa Accepted a lot of times and i'm not dissapointed with its functionality. But VESAme was the first BeApp i did and i'm very proud of its succes, particulary on the newbies sector or people that owns older machines (more than 3 years) and it's GPL.
Simple, concise and efficient.

it's early in the morning. I need to write a script that wont let me post untill I've been up for at least an hour so I've woken up ;P
In any case the stuff I just churned out was for Vesa Accepted but is probably why the dude wrote THIS script cuz vesa accepted can be Dumb... (Jess Saves)

It's kinda dumb. ormally this would be good for n00b$ but it just writes a few lines in a text file. While this is again great for n00b$ it must be stated that it's not a driver as many think & also screws up ALOT. Back in the day when I was all n00b like I tried it to get an S3 card working for my kids. (Nothing says "I love you Son - I love you Daughter" Like a Be install) In any case it didnt work but while checking what it did I noticed it set a resolution of 600X400... hmm never seen that one. It did it a few other times too. In any case if you change the script it leaves behind to a REAL resolution (providing you have a normal card as there are some wierd cards that support screen sizes like that) & save the script with the now acceptable 640x480 or 800x600 what -ever you want- it will work.
