I have removed databurn from bebits. I had taken it off my server I guess a while ago, so the link to angryneighbor.com was bad. Sorry. Thank you for continuing to use this script and especially for improving it!

I agree, I wish the Good People running Bebits would go retire some of the old pre forks that no one is looking after anymore, lets keep our OS Download site clean :)

There should be a mean to add versions to an application even if not being the same author. Or a mean to pass the app to the admin automatically after some time.
One man managing an app in opensource projects is a bit weird.

I didn't want to be mean or something, just saw 3 "forked" apps in last 2 days, and well.. thought someone should say something.
If author didn't respond than.. bad luck.. we will have another fork :)
Looks like i wasn't right in this case, sorry.

Seriously Shard, I feel your pain. I'm -from- that Linux trash world. I know exactly what you're talking about. And I'll tell you why it's a fork.
The original author is nowhere to be found and does not respond to e-mails. He has not been seen in the BeOS community in quite some time. I sent an e-mail to him on 12/08/2002, just over one month before posting this app. My original intent was to submit the changes to him, but alas that does not seem like an option.
If you have legitimate criticisms of the application itself, please voice them (this is the place to do so). I want to make databurn-joliet the best application it can be. However, discussing the predicament of "zillions of forks" is not especially productive.

Why didn't You post Your changes to original owner? Why making zillions of forks? Why do You want to make another linux-trash world from BeOS? :(
