Seriuosly, in Fenix 0.85 file formats will change, due to license issues (just covering our back) so it's of no use right now.
Anyway, you can just use pngs, which work fine.
Also, you can use the bundled fpg utility (should be in /boot/apps/Fenix/fpg/) with which you can convert to/from map files, you can do it from Fenix code. Remember fpg is a "beta" program may crash :(

It would be good creating a translator to .map graphic files & then I can use Refraction :)

Hi, yep, this Fernix thing sure does look to be a good idea as specially as iam also intrested in coding on the DC. One thing though, the installer chucks the whole thing, inc all other files into /boot/apps, as per defualt. not nice :( also fpg doesnt compile nor does the included test.prg
hope this will be fixed real soon as i cant wait to mess around with this :)
once again, looking very kewl :)
