I don't know if the author is still working on this project, but I feel that it should become more user-friendly, as most people is not able to write SQL code.
Here are my sugestions:
1.Split "New/Choose Database" in two different commands.
2.Add a "Enter Data" bar
3.Add a "Save table as..." command:
- ASCII table
- comma-delimitted text
- gobe spreadsheet
- HTML table
3.Add a "Save database as..." command:
- ASCII files (single/multiple table in each file)
- comma-delimitted text
- gobe spreadsheet (separated sheets for each table)
- HTML file
4.Add a "Print..." command
- Current table
- All tables
- Current Selection (collumn(s) or line(s))
- with/without a table list
5.Add a "Table Structure View"
- A tree-like structure,e.g., with the database in the top level, the tables next and the table structure (collumns) next
- Or else, something like MS Access'... but the former would be better.
6.Add a "Recent Databases" list
7.Add a "Recent SQL Scripts" list
8.Add a toolbar with some usefull commands:
- New database
- Open database
- Save database as...
- Print...
- Add table
- Delete table(s)
- Add collumn
- Delete collumn(s)
- Delete selected data
- Select by formula (a wizard to SQLite)
Hope too see some news soon! :)

That is something that was missing around here!
Now, it would be great that the user interface automated most of the operations (keeping also the scripting feature). Kind of Filemaker or M$ Access, I guess.
:) Keep going!, we were just missing an app like this...
