Thanks, glad you like it. I was surprised no one has written something similiar (that I could find) as it's ~10 lines of code.
It'll work great with keyboards / mice with extra buttons and the addition of SpicyKeys. Just bind an unmapped key to "/bin/SpaceSwitcher -" and "/bin/SpaceSwitcher +" to scroll through Workspaces.
