Try running it from the Terminal. Works fine for me.
You could write these 3 lines to a textfile (call it "launch" for example):
#!/bin/sh
cd /to/where/you/have/unzipped/the/game
Terminal -i -c Barrage
To use it like an executeable from BeOS go into a terminal and type:
cd /to/where/you/have/unzipped/the/game
copyattr Barrage launch (or however you called the textfile above)
Now you can just double click it or put a link to it in your be-menu and you even have the correct icon.
BTW this works for most apps you normally run from a terminal (like BeBochs for example).
Have fun, it's a funny game - a bit senseless but funny.

Yes it does. The game comes with the needed libraries, it does not use your install SDL libs.
What do you mean it "fades away"?

i have the SDLGame libs from bebits, but when the game starts, i get a full black screen, then it quickly fades away. (TNT Video card)

wow, what a good game: deaths, gore, arcade... i have no words to describe it. Simply fantastic. Good port Eugenia!
