Thanks for the feedback about the BeOS port of miniFMOD, miniFMOD is a quality app(i'm saying this from my own usage of it, nothing to do with my port), there are some neat XM tracks around the net which are well worth a listen.
I knew what you were trying to say Pete, Jace was asking about a native MOD player for BeOS, and there are players of this type on BeOS already.

I didn't meant that this software isn't needed! It's indeed very good to have this, as it's CLI and can be used in scripts, and also in active development.

yes, APlayer is nice.. but it often doesn't play XM modules very well.. so it's good to have this for the modules APlayer doesn't play correctly

|
| Yes there are plenty of choices for Mod players on BeOS |

Yes Pete is right, Aplayer, Soundplay and so on are capable of playing Mod files very well. I just ported this version for someone for a specific reason that was mentioned by email to me, someone required a BeOS version of miniFMOD to allow them to possibly port some software to BeOS.

Hi,
APlayer is really *the* MOD player to use, a fantastic player also for other soundformats! It supports 111 formats and is natively coded for BeOS too.
|
|
| Thanks for the port; the more "MOD" support in BeOS, the better! |

I would love to see a native (or a well ported) MOD/XM/etc. Tracker app on BeOS, too. Any chance of that? ;-) Cheers!
