if only this app could be linked with some device driver database of some sort and sugest the most usable drivers for the various devices on the system.
further more. if some one where able to write an app for manageing ethernet nic`s the info provided by devicefinder might be usefull.
the situation is that due to some stoopid lan botlenecks i need to make my ethernet cards run 10mbs only, or else dhcp will fail.
this is no problem in windoze. but in BeOS i have not found that sort of controls.

A very useful app - will you add the possibility to add devices, too?
A simple GUI showing the hardware in a treeview and the other information in lists would be good for the normal user... any plans there?
Thanks a lot for a much needed update,
Hugh
PS: Nice, it seems all my devices are registered already:)

Very nice. But what you need is a nice About box which says "Just write a simple app to add a jumpered device to the system." he said :-)
