I haven't used either IDEA or Eclipse, so I can't really compare, but it sounds like what they're doing is more advanced than what CodeTemplate does. CodeTemplate is basically doing user-defined macro expansion; if you've ever used CodeWright or Borland C++ Builder, it's more like their code templates. So it's not an uber-whiz-bang kind of thing, just a handy little add-on. =)

Is this comparable to IDEA and Eclipse's templates, like
'ita' +ctrl+tab makes a 'for'-loop iterating through an array?
