No need to shift on Windows to chat with my friends.

Replicant version of status manager.

It would be cool if the connection manager was a replicant so it could be embedded into the desktop or a mini replicant for the deskbar.

My God!

Your initial status is Offline by default. I will make it an option for the next version.

Good!

Another suggestion consists on showing the date of the last message receivedin the bottom of the window of every talk (in the same position where the text 'xxx is tiping a message' is shown). I.e:

'Last message received: 07/06/03 - 12:53'

That would be nice and useful

also...

Also, when a new message window is created for an incoming message, the display name of the sender is not correctly shown..... the %20's etc... arent translated

Great! Now add....

Excellent!
Good work!
This is what I've been waiting for.

Now, points of interest:

Reveal is spelled wrong on the chat windows :)
It would be nice to have some kind of font difference between
"Such and such Says:" and the message
Multi-user chats dont work properly at all (everyone comes up as the first person)
a white background on the chat window would be nice :)

I'm sure you're going to implement all these though :)

save settings

would be nice if you could save your settings (ie. window position, email address and password).

if you need code to do this with flattened bmessages, drop me a line (http://gravity24hr.com/mailto/).

Cool

...you wait for ages and then 2 come along at once. I'm also working on a Be MSN client, si-mSN -> check http://si-msn.port5.com

Still, this is a nice app and important for the community. I'm going to keep working on mine too, but now this is available and working I can wait until I've got all the features I want implemented before making a release of mine.

Thanks for the app.

Simon

I like it! Very nice! But I have 2 requests.

Very nice app! Finally I can chat with my MSN only friends in BeOS!

I foudn 1 bug and have 2 feature reqest.

1. The BUG.

Wehn you open a Chat window and resize it, the text is still wrapped at the original size, this includes resizing to smaller window size or bigger window size.

2. I want the ability to send files.. In the next ver maby ?

3. In windows MSN they got the "Emotions" thing, showing a :) as a Ywllow Smiley insted of <Colon> <Closing Parantes>. I can see this is not "prioroty", but would be nice.

btw: I had no problems showing my "screen name".

Again, very nice app! I have been waiting for this long time! Thank you!
