TERM?

Hi,

which term do i have to set?
With beterm this happens:

[dhcppc1:~]$ mc
Unknown terminal: beterm
Check the TERM environment variable.
Also make sure that the terminal is defined in the terminfo database.
Alternatively, set the TERMCAP environment variable to the desired
termcap entry.
[dhcppc1:~]$

With term set xterm this happens:

[dhcppc1:~]$ mc
Screen size 0x0 is not supported.
Check the TERM environment variable.
[dhcppc1:~]$

which Term should i set to get it working?

thanks MYOB :)

Expando-Deskbar

Its the Expando-Deskbar, its only available in OpenTracker after Decemeber 2002.

If you use original Deskbar, and old OpenDeskbar, LocaleTracker or Dockbert, you can't use it.

If you have one from after December 2002 (look at http://opentracker.sf.net), you open the BeMenu, and in Deskbar Settings, pick "Use Team Expander"

There is an intresting deskbar on your screenshot, the type I've only seen in yT's Zeta previews.
Is it an available version for R5? Or you have tried it on Zeta?

I don't like either getting duplicates for apps on bebits. it makes searching for what you want a real pain.
Why didn't you mail the publisher of the old port to ask that he gives you ownership of the page to update it ? It's as easy as 2 mouse clicks on bebits.

Re:BiPolar - no remove

1)That old port is unmantained, so ti will good if Smedos start to care about it
2(If you look into talkcback of that old port, you will see there big pretension from gnu.org, because it brokes GPL-license (no source), so rather that old bebits entry is illegal

Midnight Commander is "Out There" :P

Well, right here, in fact:

http://www.bebits.com/app/810

and the version is: 4.5.40 (even newer than this only-sources version).

Please, remove this app from bebits (to avoid cluttering). Thanks.

--BiPolar.

Well, like the one-line summary says. Make doesn't make since it can't find some file in some folder and then it quits.....

pitty. was looking forward to use MC.

src only ?
