Did I mention that I've had it crash without the MDR running or me doing any funky stuff or having anything going on in the background?

Oh, forgot to answer in regards to the 'not being able to pick-up coins / powerups' part. Kevin, when you have the 'W' powerup you cannot pickup items (it is an invincibility shield which only lasts a short period of time). You can tell when you pickup a 'W' powerup, because there is a 'dark cloud' around your ship (for lack of a better description).

Just now, I played to level 31 with no crashes. I actually tried to crash it, i.e. moved to a different prog, then back, many times - which can sometimes cause Allegro apps to crash on BeOS. Raptor didn't though. I took a screenshot, it didn't crash when keybo input was taken from it, or when focus was lost, and I was able to go back to it and play some more :)
