Expander rules

Put these two lines in Expander rules file /boot/home/config/etc/expander.rules:

"" .tar.lz "lzop -c -d %s | tar -tvf -" "lzop -c -d %s | tar -xvf -"
"" .lz "lzop -lP %s" "lzop -x %s"

You can/should add tabs between all tokens to align with existing rules. The ""'s in start of these two lines means any MIME type. First rule is to view contents of an archive and second is rule to expand the archive. 'P' in the flags means restore the original file name, you need to use it when compressing too.
