You need to use R5's OpenGL kit that was leaked out, Dano, SuperDano or PhOS to get the H/W 3D driver. Its also very, very unstable as a driver, and it also works only on OLD Radeons - 7000 and below really...
But it triples or quadruples OpenGL speed.
