Has anyone managed to contact the developer of SMS???? It is confirmed to not work on Dano and Zeta.

While I appreciate having more than one SysEx utility, I don't see why everyone has been ranting and raving about this app. Obviously you guys must not have been aware of SendSyx (http://www.bebits.com/app/2100). This app is GUI, has a tracker add-on and is open source. I would much rather be able to use the tracker to select files. Even if you prefer a command line app, there is no reason you should have been waiting forever for an app like this one - there was already a Sysex sending app available. It is not listed under the midi categories on BeBits however, but the "audio utilities" and "misc audio tools" categories; so perhaps this is why you guys were unaware of it.

A sysex dump utility! At last! I praise you! You know, this is something I can't do in Windows. The USB drivers in Windows XP are so bad that there is no way to do reliable sysex. So far it seems fine in BeOS and fine in Mac OS 9. Same Yamaha UX256 USB MIDI interface, too. Stupid Windows.
