i'm quite happy to handover the app to whoever wants to maintain it but to now have 3 different versions available seems ridiculous.
i ported/hacked/compiled it over coz i use on Solaris all the time and now i use it on BeOS BONE.

yes, but not entirely. only because You added yet another bebits entry.

no need to sorry, You can always fix it :)
It's great You want to help, but there are many ways to do that.
Please contact with Peter Moore (author of curl for BONE) about merging both curl entries on bebits.
Imagine that: one Curl on bebits with two versions - one for bone, and one for net_server. Beautiful, isn't it? :)

it's compiled with SSL support (so also with https for example), and openssl is also available on libpak page... if You wanted curl without ssl You could just ask author of curl, or compile and send it to author of curl.

yes i know, and IMHO that is the place for curl if it has to be posted as separate package. You could contact Peter Moore and send him binary. I'm sure he would add it there as net_server version, or maybe moved curl on bebits to You.
IMHO we don't need so many fake-forks ("fork" would mean that package contains some changes in code...) on bebits. also it's really not that hard to contact with people, just launch email application, write few words and hit send...

If You go to cURL homepage (which You've listed in releated links) to download page, You'll find link there to download binary version (for net_server). why duplicate stuff?
