As one of you requested I released a script that allowes you to change the PCI ID in the driver to the one you need...
You can get the application from here:

Hi,
Im sorry I made a mistake...
The driver I posted was a patch to change the ID to 1031 but I wrote 1013 the whole time... I changed the description to show 1031 everywhere now...
Sorry for that...
If you indeed have a network adapter with a 1013 PCI ID email me and I will send you a patched 1013 version...

I suppose it would be possible to put together a nifty little script that asks the user which PCI ID to patch the driver with - then it keeps an unmodified backup of the driver somewhere (a zip file in the same dir as the driver?) in case the user wants to change it at some point and re-patch.

The one from http://www.bebits.com/app/3147 is for the PCI ID 1031, not the same as you 1013 ;)

Well I don't think, maybe in the RC2, i'm waiting for SP3 to come out.
for the moment I still need my patch for my notebook with a RC1.1 (SP2).

Thanx for your postings :) I corrected mine now :)
I'd also like a universal driver very much... Probably the devs at Zeta (Yellowtab.com) have the source... We could try emailing them and informing them about the additional PCI IDs needed...
Does anyone know if Zeta includes them already?

As a clarification - these are not actually drivers, but really a patch that "hacks" the driver that ships with BeOS telling it to look for a different PCI ID than the one it originally was built for. Because of this, it can only be hacked for one at a time without having the source code for the original driver so that it could be modified to use multiple PCI IDs.
The same thing applies to other driver patches such as the Trident patch... I think it is misleading for the developer of this patch to have not put the word "Patch" into the product name.

I would be cool if it was possible to put all this patch together in a knid of unified driver for eepro100...
And you forget this one : http://www.bebits.com/app/3147 ;) Ther's 3 or 4 with a different PCI ID now.
