Paulo: are you pinoy? Yup it's the same game as www.gamena.com's tong-its, but with different code base. Mine uses C++ and SDL, the one in gamena.com is written in java and obviously can be played online against other players in the network. I play it sometimes and it's so cool, you can chat with your opponents and the game supports up to four players.
nmalth: Thanks for the suggestions. The randomising problems doesn't show up in the win32 version, I have used srand((unsigned)time(0)); which seeds the random number generator so that it doesn't use the same sequence. Maybe ahwayakchih can help with this, he's the one who ported the game to BeOS. Yup it's a bit small (640x480), it used to be in 800x600 but I thought it would run faster on smaller resolution. It has a fullscreen mode though, have you tried it, I hope the fullscreen mode works on the BeOS version. I'll try some optimizations to reduce the CPU hog... Yup it's quite addictive:) sorry 'bout that, just make sure you still eat :D

Very addictive, but...
you need to do something about your randomising; it gives the same sequence of deals on each launch.
It's a bit small; hard to read the cards on a high-resolution screen (difficult at 800 by 600 and worse at anything higher).
CPU hog: runs at 100 per cent.
But did I say it's very addictive?
