...perhaps, but one on a tight budget would be happy with a software solution. This is an old Win98 (not even SE)-era box, after all. I'll propose that option to her anyway, thanks, but if someone could help with the software that would be preferred.
Thanks,
Kev

It may sound evil, but in this day and age there is -no excuse- not to use a proper router for DSL. This means it works driverless with -anything- with an Ethernet card.

Hi,
I'm trying to get my sister's DSL set up with this, and I followed the instructions to a T, but in the DUN settings, under Modem, the "Connect via" menu only has "serial1" and "serial2", there's no "pppoe" like the instructions say to pick (i.e., /dev/ports/pppoe doesn't seem to be created properly or at all.) Her network card appears correctly in the Network preflet and I entered the settings correctly there too. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Kev

Hello Faheem,
thanks for the quick answer! I tried the CAPI-Driver because www.yellowtab.com linked it on their website.

get your beta cd and boot from it
and when it starts press ctrl+alt+delete and click on restart the desktop find the capi driver pkg and find out what files it created and delete then from your hd and also the capi driver mods your modems.ppp file
THE DRIVER IS FOR R5 ONLY not dano/zeta.
by the way i am Faheem P.

english:
After the install of the ISDN-CAPI-Driver Zeta RC2 won't boot anymore (kernel input appears). Is there any way to boot Zeta RC2 "safe" (like windows) or to deinstall the drivers out of the kernel-screen?
