R1 is using python 2.4, so the install script says "Unsupported Python version", I change the script so that I could install it, but if I try a game which worked with Zeta Neo without any problems I get this error:
File "/boot/beos/system/lib/python2.4/site-packages/pygame/__init__.py", line 64, in ? from pygame.base import *
ImportError: Unknown error loading /boot/beos/system/lib/python2.4/site-packages/pygame/base.so
maybe we need a new build for R1!?

I have tested it with Zephulor and slagpanic,
works out of the box
