Hello. Which version of BeOS do you use and which Tracker?
This version was intended for standard OT and R5.03+Bone7a mostly, as Dano has its own da_hood (actually, source of this one:).

...it crashes as soon as I mount a share. If I ignore the crashed thread ("homeboy"), I can even browse the share, but Tracker crashes eventually. I cannot get everything back on track after that happens, I have to reboot. So I guess I'm simply out of luck. Hopefully others have more success. Thanks for the work though.
Regards,
-Stephan

"Sergey esplains in the read me file that it's not working cause YT has created a "network" directory in /beos/system/servers"
False. Misunderstanding. Why not get that small zip and look in readme youreslf?
WON uses classic R5 "netework" settings file in home/config/settings, but according to testers report, in Zeta this place is already busy - YT made "network" folder there.

If this is true, one should note that applications should always keep thier settings in the config dir.
There are some things kept in the /etc/ dir, but this is limited to native system functions for the most part.

I had to re-install PhOS after trying this app. It killed BONE. cifsmount works just fine however.

Not only that. There are other problems too.
But Zeta has (as DanO) it's own native WON (da_hood) which don't need that setting file.
Maybe in future YT will manage to get it working reliable and stable.

Sergey esplains in the read me file that it's not working cause YT has created a "network" directory in /beos/system/servers ... so MS Shares cannot creates its "network" configuration file.
Too bad ...
