Thanks!
Copied it to my server and added a R5 download location on the BeBits page.

I have uploaded a BeOS package on my website at http://olivier.coursiere.free.fr/MusicManager2_v2_BeOS.zip
This is the same package as the original except the BeOS binary.

Can someone post a version actually compiled for BeOS (or is this ZeBits?)? It would be nice :-).

Yes it does, but you'll have to make sure that they're indexed. Open a Terminal, cd to somewhere on the drive you want to check and run "lsindex". In the list that's displayed you'll have Audio:Title, Audio:Artist etc if they're indexed. If they're not, run "mkindex -t string Audio:Title" etc to create the indexes, then download the reindex app (I think it's here on bebits) and use it to add yuor files to the index.

Does this program scan all volumes that have BFS? I have all my music on a seperate drive, but the program doesn't seem to pick them up?
Thanks,

I had no problems opening this application in Zeta, so it's probably that it's not compiled for BeOS.

I've been thinking along these lines myself, but I'll probably don't have the time to do anything about it. Nice work.

It won't be able to find your music files on a FAT32 partition since FAT32 doesn't support queries.
The missing symbol might be due to the fact that I've compiled it in Zeta. You could try compiling it yourself, just open the project file in the source dir and press CMD-M (asusming you've got the dev tools installed).

I like the idea, because my playlist editor for Soundplay, when I use it as a replicant, crashes my machine. Yet, all my music is on my FAT32 partition. I guess this won't query my music there? Well, anyway, when I start up your application, I get this:
Could not open "MusicManager2" (Missing symbol: GetToolTipInfo__5BViewG6BPointP5BRectP12BToolTipInfo).
