Because of lack of time, in my spare time I try my best to make this distro tiny & fast. For now it works tiny, I espect within a week to make a CD image and I'll contact you BeOS Mr X, do you have mail or s.th? Send me an e-mail (click my username) to make a plan how to host my custom distro etc., also thanks for the interest!
Currently I'm promoting BeOS at my school, hope someone will be interested to try it, at least.
And I use the tutorials you told me Mr X, thanks for the help!

yes

And If you need a place to host your file and versions I'm the one. Maybe I can help test it as well.

the best BeOS distro ever! :))))

I use it nearly 8 months and it's perfect! I customized the interface color (WindowShade), I added OpenTracker 5.3.0 and I'm trying to make it as small as i can. For now it weights 300 MB. My mission: make it smaller to fit on a Mini CD-RW.

BTW, does anybody know how to make a BeOS Live CD?

added my mirror

After installing WIND all I got was a weird splodgy image on my screen and no mouse, and no system.
I can boot into safe mode video at 640x480 but no amount of driver fiddling gets it to boot normally.
I have a TNT2 card. Any ideas how to make this thing run?

Btw, I tried ALL the boot-up options using the [SPACE] bar. Still didn't boot.

BeOS Wind live CD failed to boot. All the icons light up and then that's it.

Btw, I ALREADY have BeOS working PERFECTLY on the system I tried it in. But the Live CD failed to boot.

Any reasons why even though all the icons light-up it fails to boot?

One Link working OK - lamers

great distro but the UI should have been left alone. requires manual editing of config files to get things back to "normal". USB Mass Storage driver doesn't seem to work with this one, however BONE went in nicely

Links dead

I had a quick play around with it and I noticed that ProcessController appears to be an old version and also OpenTracker/Desktbar too. However it is a nice collection!

Nice distro !

On my new laptop work's just fine. Because it's filled with all drivers I don't need to connect to NET to obtain drivers.

I try this on my Athlon 1.2 GHz with 120 GB HDD and two CD drivers (one DVD Combo and second Lite-On CDRW) without any problem - all aplications preconfigured.

Bummer

I try to install this onto a Compaq Armada m300 and it cannot initialize the hard drive (despite being able to under the retail version of 5.0)
