If additional location links don't work, then Copy & Paste weblink into browser

I added additional location links (first attempt was cut short by BeBits--not what I expected--sorry) for Cortex 2.1.2 at SOURCEFORGE.net. Then, I noticed that, similar to the Primary links that only work some of the time, these new links are intermittent as well (why so?). When a link doesn't work, Copy & Paste the weblink address given as the description into your browser--that seems to work every time (but it seems that it will always download from the mirror at McLean, Virginia - North America).

Is there anything else like Cortex?

Does anyone know of any apps similar to Cortex on Mac OS or Widows? Technically DX9 and Apples Core Audio ought to allow this app to be ported -perhaps it could draw in more developers....

Maybe I'm just dreaming!

Yeah where are the updates?

Anyone Planning to Update this Cool App?

I was wondering if anyone will be updating Cortex in the near future. It is really cool and a great example of the strengths of BeOS, but it is still a little frail (crash-prone) for me. I use plain old BeOS R5 Pro, so there's nothing odd going on here ;-)
It would also be nice to see this thing expanded with new features!

Just forgot

Just plugged my guitar into the Soundcard, then opened Cortex! After moving VST OhmboyZ to the workspace and connected it with the Input Node and BeOS Mixer Node I could play my guitar with long delays, reverbs, flangers, distortion! Great!!! I thought I am Jimmy!
Nop. I do not but ...

Is it actually possible now to record that great sound I have produced with Cortex!

nope

le_tigre,
if you use MediaKitBeta or Dano, you should recompile Cortex

i can't get this thing to work at all. the only sound i can get to work is the tone generator, but other apps like sineclock, besting (which is the app everyone recommends one use with cortex) or objektsynth just yield dead silence in in the worst case scenario, degraded system performance. it doesn't even see the vst plugins in my media add-ons directory, save for the FF ones (flange, sonogram, et cetera). the only sorta not-standard things in this r5 box i'm running are BONE and the yamaha 754 driver. i assume that this works for at least a few people here, or it wouldn't have so high a rating... help?
