I have used AutoPilot as a top bar in BeOS for years and it has tons of features,but I don't think it's available on here anymore,but should be able to be had on beShare.As this is no longer being developed AFAIK maybe you can incorparate some of it's features into your app

I'm sure the dockbert guys will really dig this too. Dual menus but more so the Mac style look between the dock & top bar :). Anyhow this is a cool app, nice layout & easy to set up.
