Yes, it was "screen_savers" instead of "Screen Savers".
Thx to kraton & DaaT!
@Daniel:
Pretty nice one :-)

from /Screen Savers to /screen_savers. No biggie of course, since all of us BeOS/Zeta users are computer savvy :P
But of course, following the suggestion posted below should be a good idea.

Hi,
Excellent news that you have the meory leak fixed already :)
Before you release 0.4, please make a change to the readme file included to explain how to install it; seriously, I know the "drop it here" link should be enough, but it's better to elaborate that the user needs to do that, and if it doesn't work, that they should copy it directly over as mentioned in the talkback comments below. If the screensaver add-on directory really did change in Zeta, some people will find that helpful (instead of assuming it's broken, and never using your screensaver!)

it is "/boot/home/config/add-ons/Screen Savers"
if the dir is not present, there should be some other dir in the add-ons subdir, screensavers, screen_savers, something like that.

... if Yellowtab has changed some links in Zeta, but generally the user screensaver dir is "/boot/home/config/add_ons/Screen Saver"
btw, i fixed the mem leak and prepared to update to v0.4 today. but i zipped up the wrong files. gotta have to do it tomorrow then :)

right click on the broken link, choose get info click on the wrong path. choose your screen_saver folder. Click select and then drop the file there. Or simply move the BeCoral file to your screen_saver folder. normaly in: boot/home/config/add_ons/screen_saver

Hi Daniel!
Unfortunately, it´s not working.
When dropping "BeCoral" onto "drop BeCoral here" nothing happens. Am I doing anything wrong?
My OS: Zeta Neo SP1
(Be aware: I´m still Newbie *g*)

Humm, never recognized any memory leaks ... I never watched the mem usage, though. That would be probably why :)
Gotta check it out at home, I think I might know where it could happen.
Thanks for the notifocation!

Hello Daniel,
I found a minor problem with BeCoral, which I hope won't be too
difficult for you to fix. The screensaver appears to be leaking 8k of
memory each time a new pattern is started (I diagnosed this with Process Controller, watching the memory usage while it was in preview mode.) Since the Screensaver process doesn't free memory between when
it's active and inactive (even if someone changes which saver
is running!), this leak adds up and causes trouble (my machine locked up last night, I think that the Screensaver process died while it had a lock on the screen and froze everything; I'm not really sure.)
Anyway, if you could find and fix this leak, or post the source code, that'd be cool.
Thanks,
-Jon
