earlier, on R4 and R4.5 we could use Hustler, nicer app which do the same.

I believe CD player apps usually poll the device continously, to check if a CD is present. That might be the cause. Just a guess. MiniCD doesn't poll unless you've got an audio CD already mounted, so such a conflict shouldn't be possible. (It needs to poll to see what track and other state the device is in.) MiniCD relies on the audio CD being mounted (by cddafs). It's a design decision that works for me. I automount all volumes, so it works nicely. (At boot I've set it to mount only the boot volume. These are good defaults, IMO.. ;)

it's from Dano0 (or however you want to call it). It's a neat little app, though for some reason, it conflicted (back in the days) with Marcus' CDManager, when it was burning an audio CD... don't ask me why. Marcus never found a reason either, it wasn't CDManager's fault. So I stopped using it. But it was cool, definitely. Haven't tried your app yet, but I will :)

I get it.. it's from Zeta. Yeah, cd_daemon definitly looks superior. And it's made by legendary Robert Polic.
Honestly, I didn't know about it. (I don't use Zeta.) This app has been sitting unfinished on my disk for quite some time.
