No, not yet.
Currently BeeF is always in the bottom-right corner, exept when the deskbar is in the top-left corner, than BeeF is in the bottom-left corner.
In a next version, one of the first things I will look at is to allow the user to choose where BeeF should display itself.
Ciao,

Like with most desktop apps that hang around in the corner, I expect them to be able to have control where to put them on my desktop. The deskbar has a similar feature where on the grippy it can be placed anywhere around the corners. Does this app include a similar function?

I hope to have fixed the problem, a little testing also showed that BeeF for R5 runs very good on the latest Haiku build!

I've tried it and it won't load up. (maybe because I am using BONE?) But I dragged the lib as well and I downloaded the R5 version. Missing symbol error.

I notice an issue with the time zones function. When I first click it, it shows Amsterdam as my local time and all others accordingly. I have to leave BeeF running, start up my Time prefs, close it, then when I click time zones again in BeeF, it shows the proper time. It's like it's not reading the zone info until the Time prefs is opened and closed. This occurs every time BeeF is started, regardless of if a reboot has taken place or not.

For all the R5 users out there, I recompiled BeeF to run on BeOS R5.0.3. Some things like the calendar and the timezones rely on Zeta code, so they won't work in the R5 version, but overall most things work.
A R5 install package will be available soon.

It was 'FIRST_CLICK_ACCEPTED', but that gave problems with the B_CALANDAR_CONTROL.
In the next version this will be fixed, and BeeF will accept first clicks again.

Hi 0033,
I'd like to have "Accept first click" enabled on that window, that option shouldn't need to much codelines :-)
Thanks for the nice tool!

Btw,
Another option would be to remove both
"#include CalendarControl.h" and
"BCalendarControl* BeeFCalendar;"from exttimeview.h,
and remove both
"BeeFCalendar = new BCalendarControl blabla );" and "AddChild(BeeFCalendar);" from exttimeview.cpp
BeeF doesn't need BCalendarControl for anything apart from drawing a nice calendar...

No it's actually a file from the experimental source code in Zeta, in the makefile you will see that BeeF is compiled with the additional experimental and translation libs.
The path of the header file in zeta R1 is:
/boot/zeta/etc/develop/zeta-r1-gcc2-x86/headers/be/experimental/CalendarControl.h
This header actually got updated in Zeta R1.1, but I think older versions of the header will work aswell
CalendarControl.h also needs CalendarEventData.h from the experimental headers.

I am attepting to compile this under R5 and get the following error:
BeeF DR2 Source 31-10-2005/exttimeview.h:12: experimental/CalendarControl.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [obj.x86/BeeFWindow.o] Error 1
I can't find this file in the source code you have with the file. Do you have newer source laying around for it? It doesn't appear to be a Zeta file (I have Zeta on another machine)

I have just started working on a new version of BeeF.
BeeF DR2 will have a new look, tooltips, more functions, better handling of preferences, and is compiled thru a makefile.
I expect to finish DR2 somewhere mid-October.
