first install SambaSwitcher on your Zeta System, then connect over the IP search from Windows the Samba Server on Zeta.

how do you connect a Zeta PC to a PC laptop on windows local area network?
purpose is to transfer sound files from laptop to Zeta OS PC
what if the BeOS,in my case Zeta,is not connected to the web,hence has no ip address?

First install Neo Package, then install Zeta R1 package. There is a failure into the installer, i will repair this next time.

Sorry, i have create the last Package without the SambaSwitcher Startscript :-(. The Package are updated an i hope there is no other mistake into it. The changes for the Zeta R1 was not so easy. Please send me a Mail if there is some other problem to: Lelldorin@gmx.de

Hi,
we didn't find the clean way to conect from a windows computer yet. If someone has an idea what's wrong it would be nice to hear it :-)
Anyway you should be able to conect from a windows computer by searching the ip of the zeta computer in your network.

Hi,
I don't have a running BeOS.
Actually everything should work except of the thing that I think is the coolest about the SambaSwitcher - the switching icon on the desktop.
So at the moment I'd like to say no, because I have no idea how to change an icon in BeOS. And I don't have a system to play with.

It will be fine to present this App in french in the future :-), but we dont have a lokal kit, ohnle a script with the text into it. More work makres the documentation.
@kraton
I dont find any way to change the position for the network config file on BeOS and Zeta from RC1 to RC3, so we dont can make it available for older systems. This be be need a change in the source of samba, i think.

Die ersten sechs Downloads haben ein fehlerhaftes Installtionspaket gezogen, irgendwie hat der PackageBuilder auf einmal alle Zeilverzeichnisse vergessen :-(.
Fehler jetzt behoben.
