http://www.beinformed.at/sdl/gl-117-1.3.2.pkg.zip, should work "out of the box" if you have installed latest 2D drivers

@Mr. X, you know that I don't use R5

Could not open "gl-117" (Missing symbol: gluErrorString).

I can't play it still, any new improvements would be needed please!

playable with Nvidia

sorry that I mention this so late.
It works with Nvidia drivers, install latest 2D & 3D Nvidia drivers, and you need a different libSDL.so!!
if there is already a libSDL.so in /boot/home/config/lib, make a backup.
and unzip this one http://www.beinformed.at/sdl/libSDL.zip
I've greped it from Stellarium!

works fine with a Geforce 2

I know the problem, but I don't know what to change, so that it works with Mesa 3.2.1,
maybe someone else can build a version for Mesa 3.2!

some issues

Hey, this is Mr X on his beOS pro R5... I am using NvDia hardware gl (mesa 3.2 ) so I didnt expect this to start, it did! The window comes up and some cool music plays but I only get a little bit of distortion in the window, the rest is just transparent to my desktop. Can I use hardware GL and the software mesa 6.1 at the same time? Because i'd really like to use it.

stable hmm

no sure if it's more stable, I can't judge it, but it's really not perfect; if we have 3D driver using Mesa 6.2.1 I will try to improve it or someone else should do it, who has some more knowledge as I.

_CPU_libGL2

I just hope it is more stable than the port I did of 0.9... had to use the GL beta which was horribly crashprone, even with hacks to unlock the GL context regularily.
See http://clapcrest.free.fr/revol/beos/patches/gl-117-0.9.beos.compilation.patch.1.txt

The _CPU_libGL2 error is likely because you link to something that is built to use the GL2 Kit (so called beta GL), likely glut.

try to remove or rename the saveconfig file which is in
/boot/home/.gl-117
the game should create a new one, if it still doesn't work you can also delete the conf file,
so it will use full-screen; you can then edit the conf file (in full-screen it is so extremly slow)

There seem to be a little problem:

I use Mesa 6.2.1
Even if I switch the screen manually to 800x600 the error appears. The screen first gets black then the normal desktops returns.

Thanks for your work Rafael
