I have use beam right now

Yes, I have used beam but I can't get used to it. There are too many options and it's confusing without proper documentation. I like the speed, but what seems to be my problem, I always get compose message windows that fail to close after I do alt+enter . What is it, why do I always get it with practically every mozilla suite and now this, how can I fix it?

It closes here

The window closes her after I compose and send an email. Beam is another good alternative email app. It's faster, and uses native BeOS mail attributes. I use both, however.

Compose message window does NOT CLOSE after sending!

I am plagued by this hellishly annoying problem with both thunderbird and mozilla. I downloaded the pkg installation file from the talkback. What can I do to FIX it? Please help.

It's working here under zeta neo.
Maybe I am asking too much but can the newsreader-part layout be made as "Newsreader"is? That would improve the readability much since many people like to write complete stories instead of a short discripton, so it doesn't fit on the layout.
Also an option for nesgroups to download headers and content again like Newsreader would be nice too.
If fact I want all the newsreader options, why don't I use that then? Well I do, but Newsreader sometimes have trouble retreving messages and sometimes it crash on some messages.
BTW is it possible to combine multiple postings, if so how do I do that?

pkg with empty profile

I did a software wallet package some months ago with an empty profile. This build didn't have any patch. It's for bone systems.

--> http://ljr.free.fr/blog/?p=54

Some nice extentions :
* about:config (http://extensions.geckozone.org/AboutConfig/) to access parameters panel,
* LocaleSwitcher (http://ljr.free.fr/archives/beos/mozilla/LocaleSwitcher-1.0-int.xpi) to change between locales (must be installed thru extentions panel).

Screen shots, bugs, main page

The main page seems somewhat deceptive because it does work on R5 with bone, it does not specifically say anywhere.

When selecting 'install themes' the open file window allows you to select more than one file at a time. If you choose mor than one .jar file thunderbird crashes.
Choosing the 'close all' option from within the deskbar program group for Thunderbird, the application does not close.
Does not start when ran by the 'profilemanager'
To get it running again, check the 'dont ask on startup' in the profilemanager.
Import wizard is buggy (mail and settings do not function, while the address book cannot import mozilla 1.7a address book file)
After composing a message, the 'compose message' window hangs around and does not exit. (same thing happened on mozilla 1.7a)
When composing a message, the cursor does not auto snap to the 'recipient' it goes into the text box instead.

Note: I tried to import as many things as I could from mozilla 1.7a , (including manually moving folders) but Thunderbird simply is not compatible with the mail format or addressbook or setting at this time, it seems. We just have to start over :(

Greatly working IMAP, HTML view of mails and RSS-reader.

Did it build from CVS? If not what patches changes did you have to do?

Keep up the good work...
