I like the way that it reads the file directly from the HDD, now files larger than your free memory space can be tallied. It is also faster this way.

the opt+alt+H for some strange reason will not bring up the Hashbrown box, but if I change it, for example to G it works fine. What is the matter?

that would explain why it wouldnt register on the 700MB iso files of mandriva I have. aka - useless.

It works most of the time for small files. The problem is that it reads the whole file into RAM and then hashs the buffer. This will not work with too large files.
But BY ALL MEANS please fix this to delete the buffer afterwards!
The buffer does not get deleted and as the add-on is executed from the Tracker, the memory doesn't get freed after the add-on is closed. This thing (in that version) is one huge memory leak.

Just alot of cpu usage, and then nothing comes up or alerts me of the md5 sum. Fix please!
