I don't think so. It works for machines with broken BIOS. Use cpuid linked to this app to check if everything on the chip is enabled.
As I wrote in README, I just ported the code over from Linux. I am not an expert on CPUs. (And neither was the author of Linux module, the core code came from gurus of LinuxBIOS project).

Is this driver could speed up my Centrino Dothan 1.5 Ghz ? It has 2mo cache L2 but it seems you are talking about older CPU...
