In principle yes you could, how you would go about doing it however is another matter, perhaps there are some pre made php scripts floating around out there that could do it?
Web development was never my forte.

Thanks, korli. I forgot that of course Haiku would have one... I added a link to it.
Reading the source, two things are clear:
- tiny_uptime always displays the current time (Haiku uptime is able to omit it)
- tiny_uptime always displays the number of days, even if it's zero
Adding a support for both features is a matter of a couple of minutes, though. Is there any demand? :)

As the_leander said, it's very useful for those who use the command line interface. Even though you don't _need_ to use the CLI that much in BeOS, there are many things you just can't do from GUI.
Besides that, I'm so used to writing "uptime" instead of grabbing the mouse, navigating to the Be menu and clicking About, then focusing my eyes on the correct line. :)

| well then can it do this |

Could it be used to view your beos system uptime from within say, a website forum signature?

With a commandline uptime program you can for instance hook it up as an option in IRC clients like Baxter, for instance, also if you're accessing BeOS/Zeta through the shell, its also useful.
I believe that its also available as an option for Beshare, but that I'd have to check on.

What can it do more, than the 'Running' header under the 'about beos' from the deskbar cannot? Or does it do just the same ? Whats the point even.
