No it cannot be used as a replicant.
But that would be damn useful!
I tried to code a simple replicant a long time ago but wasn't successfull. This is definitely something I have to try again sometime...

Thanks for the nice comments (I'm the author)!
I'd like to know if the app works on Zeta, because I only have BeOS 5.03 ? My guess is it will work, but I'm not sure if it looks like it is supposed to (i.e. the animated TextControl).
About the Deskbar TextField: nice idea, but that would totally clutter up Deskbar, as the textfield would have to be very big. If you want a window in all workspaces, just set it to "Stay On Top".
About Quicksilver: Since I don't have OSX, I don't fully understand what Quicksilver does. Judging from the descriptions on the net, I would say that it would be easier to write a brand a new app that comes close to Quicksilver rather than to rewrite LittleShell.
