Hi everybody. A few days ago I installed a Zeta 1.2.1 on aa Acer Aspire 1501 LMi. It works correctly, but I can see the battery : I have just installed the APM driver (which works correctly: It shutdowns the full system) and tried the Battery View and the Battery Status, but both of them do the same: They say that the laptop is connected with an AC Adaptator (even when it isn´t) and they don´t show any percentage :( So, what could I do to be able to know the battery level? Try a new program, use a command in the terminal... Please, I need help about this, it´s very important for me. Thank you very much. :)

So, new icons, same bugs :D
Why didn't you just reuse BatteryView instead ? dupped work is a big problem on the small beos scene already.
Btw, there is a (beclan IIRC) project for a laptop-specific tool that handles apm, wifi and other stuff, can't find the url atm. Maybe you could try working on it.

I developed this app by using the apm driver source code (to know how to read the apm registers). The idea is not really new, but I wanted to write a better version of BatteryView (nicer icons, warnings, etc...).
Open/close of the apm driver will change in the next version.

is it ? Is it based on the old version ? Did you use the fix I made to not open()close() the driver every second that stopped the disk drive from spinning down, which for a laptop isn't nice ?
