– sometimes when I change Display screen option and reconnect, showing error:

segment violation occurred

Thanks Bardulas. I'm glad it wasn't a processor issue.
That problem ( missing symbol ) is caused when a program was linked to a newer library to create the binary. And now is calling an older version of that library to run / execute.
So, it tells me the libraries between R5 & Dano ( & Zeta ) don't match up. Not sure how I missed this.
Now I realize that for a program to be R5+Bone compatible that it has to be compiled on R5+Bone platform so it uses those libraries ( & then it'll also work on Dano / Zeta with newer libraries ).
Compiling a program on either Dano or Zeta ( like I did ) means there is a chance that it won't work for R5+Bone.
This was an oversight on my part and I'm glad for your reply and happy the R5+netserver works for you.

Hi Bardulas,
I compiled the Dano / Zeta Version. My BeOS environment is set up to optimize for Pentium 2 ( or better ) processor. Sorry, this is my fault.
Can you let us know what cpu / processor you are using? Then can rule this out. ( ie: Are you using one of these: Pentium 1, Pentium w/MMX, AMD K5, K6, K6-2, K6-3? or ? ). I'm just wondering if this is causing the program to crash on you.

Anyone know if it will work on Dano?
Try to see if the script version runs with this yab interpreter - and if so try to build it with the included "Build Factory"or try to "bind" it.

What version of BeOS are you using? Are you running it as script through a yab interpreter or running from the compiled version?
