I've added a download for the latest beta (latest stable froze on my Haiku installation), this one is compiled and running in a native gcc4 environment.

zcfree seems to be part of freetype (checked earlier in Haiku), check if you have that (libfreetype.so) installed.

ps ... zlib = libz.so mf ;)

Could you check if the system has zlib.so installed? If not there should be a version in the LibPak here on BeBits, I'll add a link to the 'related links' for it.

Installing, unzipping ....

This version needs a BONE version for BeOS, so all BONE versions should be ok (can't test them myself here as I don't have a R5 BONE version installed) working fine in ZETA.
Just unzip the archive to /boot or use the autoinstaller in ZETA to install.

Well, I haven't paid much attention to BeOS for quite a while (been playing with Ubuntu, LinuxMint, and Puppy Linux for the last couple years), and I guess I've forgotten how to do some things.

What am I supposed to do with this after I unzip it? Or am I even supposed to unzip it?

Where are the instructions for this sort of thing?

PS. BeOS & Zeta work well on my old Dell. Inspiron 1100. Just need to get my truemobile 1150 pcmcia card right.

Very nice to see this port!

I wait for this port long time. I am a Civilization player past release of civilization1 on AMIGA. Ok it is not so great like Civilization4 but it is a nice Game.
