... perl-5.10.0-gcc2 from Haikuware.com didn't work for me on R5 net_server.
This works (thanks to mmadia updated to the buildfirebird bebits wiki):

The one on this download page won't work in R5:
If anyone has the binaries, I would greatly appreciate it.
Note: you can also build it with these instructions:

Unfortunatly the Perl 5.8 entry has been removed from BeBits. Search the net or check Perl's own homepage.

I see in the install that it says compiled on a BoNE system.
Any idea what will happen if I install this on my net_server system (over the 5.005_03 version already installed)?
