This app made burning discs really easy with a great, simple, drag 'n' drop interface. Window redraw is a bit of a problem, but is purely esthetic. The fact that it is open-source is great for all us newbies who want examples to learn from, toy with, and (hopefully) improve.

I've used BurnItNow! for a while and have been fairly happy but looking for something else to try and thought I would give Melt a go. Unfortunately, the lack of joliet, bfs CD encodings is going to make me pass on it.

Who need to learn all possible switches to mkhybrid and cdrecord when he can use this so great shell to cdrtools ???
There is some graphical bugs (like unrefreshing window during burning...), but it's run well, and it's just fine.
Open sourcing it and we all can learn how it's done.
Lukas, thanks for this big contribute to CD tools under BeOS.
