I didn't knew BeOS had even a Vocoder app! Great I'll be using it for my next project. I hope that it works in R5 and Zeta 1.1 : )

A a small and powerful command line audio processor. I could find no bugs or flaws in it. The README file explained how the program operated and what you do to change the perameters. You can get a lot of great sounds for any style of music from funk to techno if you don't mind leaving the GUI world for a few minutes and learning this program. Considering what the program does it is also remarkably fast. Note that while it seems remarkably fast on a K6-3 400 it uses all the CPU it can get (on my machines it gobbled up 97% of the CPU, the other 3% was taken by system functions and to run "top") so CPU spead will definitely make a difference if you use the Zerius Vocoder to process large files.
